Synopsis

From an original dramaturgy by Sergi Belbel, eight Mexican actors explain —with a special humour, a few drops of drama, some songs and great outpouring of energy— their experiences in exile among us. In twelve independent minimalist scenes and through the word and body, the characters attempt to make us understand what it is like to experience Mexico from an unwanted distance and how Spain and Catalonia are seen from the close distance of a bittersweet banishment. Profoundly Mexican airs, aromas, sounds and spices mixed with the soft, humid, sticky and treacherous breeze of the Mediterranean. With the participation of three ex-students from FiraTàrrega’s Master’s Degree in Street Arts Creation.
