Of Man and Beast

Synopsis

A street dance piece that explores the multiple faces of masculinity: strength, camaraderie, vulnerability, hostility, individual dynamics and group behaviour. Five dancers perform in a range of different scenarios and situations: you have to be hard, funny and fast if you're part of the gang. But cracks soon begin to appear in the group and the characters are forced to question their identity and feeling of belonging. A physical, emotional, fun and provocative choreography that is reflected in everyday reality and shows an impressive athletic ability. A glorious mixture of testosterone and fragility.
