La Brisa

Synopsis

In the 1990s, the La Brisa bar was considered a place of cultural resistance in Ciudad Juárez. According to the legend, it was a place with heterogeneous and wasteful clientele. as is typical of border areas. The bar was burnt down by a group of vandals but the reasons for this attack never came to light. With time, the memory of that place has turned into a subject of nostalgia and melancholy. The whereabouts of the women who set it upis unknown. This piece gathers up the name of that canteen. It is the staging of a search for the desired personal effects. A route through fortuitous events, discreet encounters, unexpected occurrences. A foolishness as great as wanting to choreograph dust.
