Abacus

Synopsis

A contemporary dance piece for 9 women and 18 buckets that explores individuality and freedom in the context of work. The performers manipulate buckets in a hypnotic sequence of moves that evoke the dynamics of a factory, of energetic movements with percussive sound, like a large industrial drum. A choreography that makes you hear music where others hear noise and that reflects humanity where others only see mass production.
