Synopsis

Diana Coca is an artist based on the image, action and performance. The destruction and reconstruction of reality have become the axes of her work, clearly questioning the system and power, human relations, hierarchisation and use of the public space. Starting from her body -converted into a political and resistant subject-, the artist works generating improvised situations that make us rethink how we move through the streets. She poses her relations with the environment, outside artistic spaces and often with an aesthetic of chaos, occupying the urban space in terms of liberation, to transform and democratise it. A space where architectural barriers are perceived as the wounds the neoliberal system inflicts on the town. The aim is it make visible what power wants keep invisible.
