FiraTàrrega. Teatre al carrer

Synopsis

This piece explores the dynamics of race and identity in modern america through the lens of two African spirits. Wahala, which means "trouble", can be both playful and serious, and that dual energy is what the dancers project as they move about through their world. The two elements that connect them are music and movement, and these same elements also give birth to their individuality. How secure do we all feel in our own skin? This piece will hopefully inspire audiences to overcome their own insecurities, love the skin they are in, and stir up some wahala on the dance floor.
