Synopsis

The Argentinean choreographer, dancer, actor and director Luis Biasotto (co-director of the Grupo Krapp) presents a proposal that lies between the performance, theatre and dance. Àfrica revolves around 5 questions organised in a circular structure with leaps in time, like reading a book that is missing some chapters: the impossibility of remembering, the impossibility of being someone else, the impossibility of believing, the impossibility of explaining the act of performing and the impossibility of being original. A journey into the subjectivity of an innovative and unclassifiable creator. Winner of the Patronage Prize 2013 at the Zürcher Theater Spektakel (Switzerland)
