Synopsis

From the invention of this Asturian tropic and in connection with nature and the rural world, Rodrigo Cuevas moves away from ethnocentric visions to look at the people who transmit the knowledge and values of the community and make us look at the past in a romantic and idealised way. A humanistic look that emphasises intergenerational bonds, beauty and sexual freedom. A show focusing on the concept of time and annual cycles, posed as a popular contemporary songbook that uses electronics, humour, performance and modern musical codes to narrate the eternal stories that folklore supplies. A song to ancestral wisdom as an antidote to the hyperreal and arrogant disaster of contemporary society.
