Synopsis

Francesc Cuéllar embodies the prototype of a 20-something-year-old youth who attempts the grand adventure of living alone —without flatmates— in Barcelona. In the vehicular format of a speech, with lucidity and humour, he constructs a first-person narrative about the paths toward self-sufficiency before thirty. A dissection of the adversities and obstacles that must be faced —to survive with a certain dignity— by a whole generation of young millennials living in indefinite precariousness: speculation, gentrification, the housing bubble, mass tourism... A thorough and sarcastic review of the habits and customs, rights and necessities of modern society, regarding ways of life.
