    FiraTàrrega 2013, international centre for bookings and debate among professionals

    The Fira offers the professional sector a wide range of activities to promote contacts, exchanges and the training of companies, programmers and distributors in street arts and the performing arts in general. A panel discussion on Mexican creativity today; a gathering of professionals organised by the Circostrada network, focused on street arts in Europe now and in the future; and a talk by CircusInfo Finland on the state of Finnish circus production are just part of what's on offer. The Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia is organising a meeting between Catalan companies and associations and professionals from around the world, aimed at generating bookings and promoting the presence of Catalan artists in other countries

    FiraTàrrega’s 2013 street arts programming highlights the richness of ideas, disciplines, subjects and origins

    Street arts are the star of the 'Official section' of FiraTàrrega, in which a wide variety of urban messages will take over the streets and the squares of the capital of the Urgell between 5 and 8 September, with a collection of events whose common characteristics are novelty, an international orientation and their connection with the current situation. The innovative shows which have completed their production process under the Creation Support Programme - FiraTàrrega's "R & D department" - will be presented within a new section of the program called 'Plataforma'

    FiraTàrrega 2013 presents the most up to date Mexican scene and reaffirms its status as a transcontinental hub

    With Mexico as the guest country, FiraTàrrega 2013 will bring together the European premieres of the latest productions by the great flagship companies of current Mexican theatre, such as Teatro Línea de Sombra, Teatro de Ciertos Habitantes and Compañía Nacional de Teatro (the National Theatre Company). There will be a strong presence at the Fira of Mexican professionals, and during the Fira there will also be a conference for professionals, including a series of round table discussions, focused on the performing arts in this Central American country.

    Four companies included in the Creation Support Programme can be seen at Fringe13 of Madrid

    Thanks to an agreement between the Fair and the festival, the companies Ernesto Collado, Joan Català, Teatro de Cerca and Insectotròpics will be invited to Fringe13 before acting at FiraTàrrega in September.

    The Master of Arts in Street Art Creation, promoted by FiraTàrrega and the UDL brings together renowned European professionals to the city.

    These workshops integrate the module What's new in the street arts sector, including one in the master's degree that FiraTàrrega and the UdL promote to internationalize Catalan Street Arts to train new professionals and provide recycling opportunities for working professionals.
