The artistic director of FiraTàrrega reflects on stage creation in non-conventional venues

This Wednesday, the manager of the celebration, Pau Llacuna, brings the theatrical event to Madrid

The prestige of FiraTàrrega is becoming ever clearer, especially as a model of efficient organisation and, for this reason, various of the people in charge of the theatrical event are invited to different forums both to explain the specific nature of the La Fira and to evaluate the current stage panorama. In recent years, various academic books and doctoral theses have been published about La Fira and analyse several of its aspects.
Regarding participation in different centres of opinion, this week, Jordi Colominas explained his vision of stage creation in a talk given in Barcelona on Tuesday, 3rd February in the conference called “Tast de cultura”. In this cycle of talks, the artistic director of La Fira met various people from the world of the theatre to tackle the theme of “Stage creation in non-conventional venues, territory of new emotions”.

Pau Llacuna goes into detail about the model of La Fira in Madrid
On the other hand, the manager of FiraTàrrega, Pau Llacuna, visited Madrid to give the talk “FiraTàrrega. The economic, social and cultural impact”. The participation of FiraTàrrega is part of a cycle of talks under the name “Lleida, the culture of the sense” which aims to bring the relevant people and outstanding business models in Lleida closer to Madrid.
This round of talks has been promoted by the Lleida Board of Economic Promotion from Lleida Provincial Council and the delegation of the Catalan government, the Generalitat in Madrid, through the Centre Cultural Blanquerna.
