On Saturday, 25th April, the people responsible for publishing the book and FiraTàrrega presented the book in public in Talladell

FiraTàrrega presents a new book, “Carabosse al Talladell”, about the representation by the French company Carabosse of Paisatge de Foc in Talladell, a village attyached to Tàrrega, during the last edition of the festival.

It traces in images the village’s radical transformation radical over two nights. Thousands of people enjoyed this metamorphosis that combined various elements with fire as the protagonist to take the spectator to a magic world with a litúrgia poetic and fully creative liturgy.
FiraTàrrega has published this book to publicise and recognize the work by Carabosse and the people of Talladell, both those who saw and experienced the company’s spectacle and those who stil have had the chance to discover the village.

As well as images by various photographers, among whom the works by Jesús Vilamajó stand out, there is also short texts to accompany the images. These texts help the reader to understand this magical transformation and are written by journalists, professionals in the performing arts, and other leading characters from FiraTàrrega.

The book has 68 pàges in full colour and the first edition is 1,000 copies.  It is on sale for 5 euros in bookshops in Tàrrega and also in the places dedicated to merchandising during FiraTàrrega 2009.
