FiraTàrrega has a clear desire to influence the processes of creative renewal. The specific objectives of the Fair involves the stimulation of street theatre, promoting creation among emerging artists, and the promotion of education, focusing on artistic creation and cultural management and the creation of strategic alliances for developing street theatre circuits or transnational productions. For this reason it offers its support to artists through various lines of action.

1) TRAINING By means of organizing seminars, workshops or lectures, FiraTàrrega, together with the main institutions of the country, promote specific training for management companies and artists so they can update their skills, improve their competitiveness and achieve internationalisation. It also works in conjunction with the university in achieving a higher education in vocational Street Theatre.

2) CREATION LABORATOIRES. Annual call open for young stage catalan creators who wish to work in unusual venues, interested in the research that this involves, who envisage open processes, not completed, with an important element of research and risk and which will enjoy the full technical, logistic and promotional support of FiraTàrrega. Projects that involve the company staying in Tàrrega during the time necessary to create the spectacle, adapted to the conditioning factors of the chosen venue, and presented in the programme as absolute premieres.

3) TRANSNATIONAL PRODUCTION FiraTàrrega would like to encourage the participation of Catalan artists in transnational projects of creation, by means of networks, festivals or the projects with which we collaborate and participate.

4) CREATIVE RESIDENCES Through these residences FiraTàrrega makes its infrastructure available for the companies to carry out their creations under the best possible conditions, while enjoying assessment and logistic, technical and promotional support.
